This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. | And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. |
For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe. | For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. |
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. | If you love Me, keep My commandments. |
For sin is no longer to have any power over you, since you are not under the Law but under grace. | For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. |
What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.” | What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” |
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law. | The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. |
Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go. | And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn. |
Do not judge, so that you in turn may not be judged. | Judge not, that you be not judged. |
“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and every other commandment are all summed up in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” | For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” |
He proclaimed his covenant to you which he ordered you to fulfill, the Ten Commandments, that he wrote upon two tablets of stone. | So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone. |
Do not make gods from silver or from gold instead of me. You will not make them for yourselves. | You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves. |
Those who love your law have great peace; they encounter no stumbling blocks. | Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble. |
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. | If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. |
We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws. | We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. |
You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you. | You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you. |
All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us. | Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. |
Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law. | Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. |
I rejoice in following your statutes more than I would rejoice in endless riches. | I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. |
Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts. | Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. |

This is the end of my teaching. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for that is the responsibility of everyone. | Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. |
Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. | Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. |
Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard? | Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? |
You must understand, brethren, that it is through him that forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you. All those who believe are justified from all the things from which they could not be justified by the Law of Moses. | Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. |
However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does. | But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. |
