Bible Verses about the Mind

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.To get wisdom is to love oneself; to keep understanding is to prosper.
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. For in much wisdom is much vexation, and those who increase knowledge increase sorrow.
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished. The clever see danger and hide; but the simple go on, and suffer for it.
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens the wits of another.
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.Happy are those who find wisdom, and those who get understanding.
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom.

Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.Even fools who keep silent are considered wise; when they close their lips, they are deemed intelligent.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.A fool despises a parent's instruction, but the one who heeds admonition is prudent.
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And ‘to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength,’ and ‘to love one's neighbor as oneself,’—this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
