Psalm 27 - NCB

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear… Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom should I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom should I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1 safety fear light
Even if an army encamps against me,
my heart will not succumb to fear;
even if war breaks out against me,
I will not have my trust shaken.
Psalm 27:3 fear heart trust

There is only one thing I ask of the Lord,
just one thing I seek:
to dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
so that I may enjoy the beauty of the Lord
and gaze on his temple.
Psalm 27:4 love God nearness
I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
Psalm 27:13 goodness trust
Place your hope in the Lord:
be strong and courageous in your heart,
and place your hope in the Lord.
Psalm 27:14 trust patience courage
