Psalm 39 - WEB & NCB

Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry. Don’t be silent at my tears. For I am a stranger with you, a foreigner, as all my fathers were.

Hear my prayer, O Lord; do not be deaf to my cry or ignore my weeping. For I am a wayfarer before you, a nomad like all my ancestors.

Yahweh is the strength of my life.
Of whom shall I be afraid?

Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
