But you, O Lord, are a merciful and compassionate God,
slow to anger and abounding in kindness and faithfulness.

and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

are a God of compassion and mercy,
slow to get angry
and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious,
