For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe. | For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. |
If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. |
For one believes in the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. | For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. |
As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” | For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” |
Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” | For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” |
So then, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. | So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. |
