Bible Verses about '1 Corinthians 7:3'

A husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise a wife should fulfill her conjugal obligations to her husband. For a wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise, a husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
However, to avoid the temptation to immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. But because of sexual immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband.
Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by mutual consent for a specified time so as to devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan may not tempt you by taking advantage of your lack of self-control.Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time so that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
Now in regard to the eating of meat sacrificed to idols, we know that idols are nothing in the world and that there is only one God.Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.
For us there is one God, the Father, from whom all things are and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and through whom we exist.Yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
Everyone who seeks a prize submits himself to rigorous self-discipline in every respect. They do so to win a perishable crown, while we seek an imperishable one.Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
Rather, I discipline my body and bring it under control, for fear that after preaching to others I myself may be disqualified. But I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and God is faithful, so He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
“All things are lawful,” you may say—but not all things are beneficial. All things may be lawful—but not all things are constructive. All things are permitted, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted, but not all things build people up.
No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor. No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor.
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God.
The body is one, although it has many parts; and all the parts, though many, form one body. So it is with Christ. For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.
For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, Jews as well as Greeks, slaves as well as free men, and we were all given the same Spirit to drink. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
If in speaking I use human tongues and angelic as well, but do not have love, I am nothing more than a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I speak with the tongues of mankind and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and the ability to understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and have all the faith necessary to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give away everything to feed the poor and hand over my body to be burned, but do not have love, I achieve nothing. And if I give away all my possessions to charity, and if I surrender my body so that I may glory, but do not have love, it does me no good.
Love is patient; love is charitable. Love is not envious; it does not have an inflated opinion of itself; it is not filled with its own importance. Love is never rude; it does not seek its own advantage. It is not prone to anger; neither does it brood over setbacks.Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered.
Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
And now, brethren, I want to remind you of the gospel I proclaimed to you, which you received and in which you stand firm. Through it you are also being saved, provided that you are holding fast to what I proclaimed to you. If not, then you have believed in vain. Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
For I handed on to you as of primary importance what I received: that Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried and that he was raised to life on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
For since death came into the world through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man.For since by a man death came, by a Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
Just as in Adam all die, so all will be brought to life in Christ. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
Do not let anyone lead you astray. “Bad company corrupts good morals.”Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
