1 John 4:18 (2/2)

This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanses us from all sin.But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever. The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever.
Whoever denies the Son doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father. As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you remain in Him.
Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming. Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him.
Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil. The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another.
By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God; so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Bible verse of the day

Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.
