2 corinthians (2/4)

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. For our eyes are fixed not on what is seen but rather on that which cannot be seen. What is visible is transitory; what is invisible is eternal.
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? If he is not, then you have failed the test.
But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. And as we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, all of us are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
All that you do must be done in love.Everything that you do should be done in love.
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.But he answered me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” Hence, I will boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell within me.
For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf. For the love of Christ urges us forward, once we conclude that one has died for all, and therefore all have died. And he died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves, but for him who for their sakes died and was raised to life.
Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”Do not let anyone lead you astray. “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercy and the God of all consolation. He consoles us in all our afflictions and thereby enables us to console others in their tribulations, offering them the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.Keep alert; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor. No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor.
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.Just as in Adam all die, so all will be brought to life in Christ.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. For we are God’s coworkers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
But because of sexual immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband. However, to avoid the temptation to immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God.Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
For since by a man death came, by a Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For since death came into the world through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man.
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
But just as it is written: “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”For as it is written, “Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has the human heart imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God.
