| Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. |
| For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? | For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? |
| Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. | Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. |
| When pride comes, then comes dishonor; But with the humble there is wisdom. | Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. |
| Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. | Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. |

| Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification. | We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. |
