Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. 1 Corinthians 15:1-2	Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. faith evangelism salvation

Don’t long for “the good old days.” This is not wise. Ecclesiastes 7:10	Don’t say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this. wisdom life
So go ahead. Eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, for God approves of this! Ecclesiastes 9:7	Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works. joy food life
Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. Romans 15:7	Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God. Jesus worship neighbor
Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3	Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7	Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him. protection goodness safety
Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. Proverbs 4:7	Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding. wisdom understanding

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge, but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.
