| This Jesus is ‘the stone that was rejected by you, the builders; it has become the cornerstone.’ | This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. |
| And now why do you delay? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name. | And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. |

| Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? | Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? |
