| Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase. | We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other. |
| Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. | Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. |

| And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God. | For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. |

| When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your wicked ways. | To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities. |
| Therefore, let us cease passing judgment on one another, but rather judge never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. | Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way. |
| No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a pot or places it under a bed. Rather he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light. | No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. |
| Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.” | Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” |
