| Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. | If any think they are religious, and do not bridle their tongues but deceive their hearts, their religion is worthless. | If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. |

| Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise. | Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. |
| And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. | But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. |
| Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me. | Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. |
| Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord. | Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. |
| See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. | See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. |

| I am the living bread that came down from heaven. | Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. | He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. |
| Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. | And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. |
| Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs. | Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. |
| If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment. | And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. |
| The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” | For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |
| No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one. | Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. |
| When one will not listen to the law, even one's prayers are an abomination. | He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. |
| Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. | Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. |
| The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance. | The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. |
| Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” | Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. |
| God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God. | Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. |
| The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned. | He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. |
| No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also. | Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. |
| You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. | Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. |
| Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. | Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. |
