| The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. | Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. |

| For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints. | For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. |
| For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it passes by, Or like a watch in the night. | For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours. |
