| Beloved, we are God’s children now. What we shall be has not yet been revealed. However, we do know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he really is. | Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace. | You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace. |
| I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. | Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. |

| I urge you, brethren, to watch out for those who incite dissensions and obstacles in opposition to the teaching that you have learned. Take care to avoid them. | Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. |
| Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom. | Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. |

| The birth of Jesus Christ occurred in this way. When his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came to live together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. | Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. |
| But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe. | But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. |
| O God, you are my God, for whom I have been searching earnestly. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. |

| Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single letter, not even a tiny portion of a letter, will disappear from the Law until all things have been accomplished. | For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished. |
