Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.
The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.
Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people.
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor.
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.For the Lord delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.
