- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
- Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Seek the Lord, and his strength:
seek his face evermore. - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps.
It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
