- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?
- All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
- Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
- Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
- For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.
- Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.
- Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.
- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways! - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts. - It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.”You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.Next verse!With image
