- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah.
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
