- The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it. - Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
- The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - I called upon the Lord in distress:
the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. - O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
- The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Honour the Lord with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. - The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Next verse!With image
