You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble.You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
You need to be steadfast if you want to do the will of God and receive what he has promised.For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive.And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.

For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him.For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake.
When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”
