Bible Verses about 'Believed'

Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory.Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.
It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.
We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
