Bible Verses about 'Believed'

Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise from the dead. Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead.
Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory.
Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common. All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.
Now I would remind you, brothers and sisters, of the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you in turn received, in which also you stand, through which also you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message that I proclaimed to you—unless you have come to believe in vain.Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.
So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.
By faith he received power of procreation, even though he was too old—and Sarah herself was barren—because he considered him faithful who had promised. It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.
So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added. Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.
For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast.God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
