And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them. | And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. |
For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another. | For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. |

Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. | Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. |
The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him. | Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. |
Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. | Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. |
Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us, for the glory of God. | Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. |
See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people. | See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. |
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success. | This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. |
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. | With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. |
In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. | Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. |
But You, Lord, are a shield around me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. | But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. |
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. | For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. |
No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him. | No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. |
One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper, But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion. | He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. |
But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many. | But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. |
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” | Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. |
But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. | But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. |
One who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But one who is careless of conduct will die. | He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. |
And let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. | And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. |
One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter. | A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. |
So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. | If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. |
For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” | For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
But from the beginning of creation, God created them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate. | But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. |
Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well pleased.” | Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. |
The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him. | He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. |
