Bible【theonebb.com】【bibletheone.com】the one bible study what is faith (3/4)

But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God.And the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God.
For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life? For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?
If we say that we have fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true.If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless, indeed, you fail to meet the test!Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.”And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.”
What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and in their eagerness to be rich some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling.
Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.
With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?
Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers; for what do righteousness and lawlessness share together, or what does light have in common with darkness?
Now a mediator involves more than one party; but God is one.Now a mediator is not for one party only; but God is only one.

Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive. And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.
