- A merry heart does good, like medicine,
But a broken spirit dries the bones. - When I kept silent, my bones grew old
Through my groaning all the day long. - Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones. - As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. - Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
And Adam said:
“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.Next verse!With image
