The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.He has made everything beautiful in its time. Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.”Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor; only fools insist on quarreling.It is to one’s honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.

Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
