Where can I go to hide from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to the heavens, you are there; if I take my rest in the netherworld, you are also there.Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.
This saying can be trusted: If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.The statement is trustworthy: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him.
And opens the eyes of those who cannot see. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.

For our eyes are fixed not on what is seen but rather on that which cannot be seen. What is visible is transitory; what is invisible is eternal.While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
And thus we can have confidence in him that if we ask anything that is in accordance with his will, he hears us.This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
For much wisdom can result in much sorrow, and those who increase their knowledge also increase their grief.Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.
This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit.By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.

If someone says, “I love God,” but at the same time hates his brother, he is a liar. For whoever does not love the brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.If someone says, “I love God,” and yet he hates his brother or sister, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother and sister whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
And where a single man can be overcome, two together will be able to resist. A cord with three strands is not easily broken.And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out. If we have food and clothing, let us be content with these.For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.

For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the Spirit, and those of the Spirit are opposed to the flesh. They are in conflict with one another, so that you cannot do what you want.For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want.

Bible verse of the day

And as we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, all of us are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
