- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
- The words of a talebearer are as wounds,
and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. - Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
- Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
- Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Next verse! With image
