Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Those who guard their mouths preserve their lives; those who open wide their lips come to ruin.Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.”“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.
Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being.For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
