You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you. | Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. |
But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” | For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us. | And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us. |

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. | Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy. |
Whoever keeps the commandment keeps his life; he who despises his ways will die. | He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. |
