God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, but now he commands people everywhere to repent.In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
A wise man will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to grief.The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.
Whoever observes the commandments will live, but the one who scorns them will die.Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life, but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die.
The precepts of the Lord are right, causing the heart to rejoice. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving light to the eyes.The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
Therefore, observe the commandments of the Lord, your God. Walk in his ways and fear him.Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.

Moses remained with the Lord for forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments, on the tablets.Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him.Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
