- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.Next verse!With image
