- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.Next verse!With image
