Desire of my heart (3/4)

Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.
As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man.As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.
But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.

So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.What a person desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the heart of the wicked is of little worth.The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
The wise of heart will receive commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.

Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.
