- He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. - For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
- For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
- The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. - For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious;
but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. - And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
- For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.Next verse!With image
