Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”
Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky.Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.
Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.

Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.

Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
