- The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works. - Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them. - The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands. - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- For the Lord loves justice,
And does not forsake His saints;
They are preserved forever,
But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. - You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints;
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
