- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - I have chosen the way of truth:
thy judgments have I laid before me. - O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.Next verse!With image
