- You are my rock and my fortress.
For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will not be shaken. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken. - I love you, Lord;
you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety. - Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him. - The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;
the godly run to him and are safe. - But as for me, I will sing about your power.
Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.
For you have been my refuge,
a place of safety when I am in distress. - The Lord is my light and my salvation—
so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,
so why should I tremble?
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.Next verse!With image
