The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly.
If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!
Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back.
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.
Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!
But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.
