I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.
Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray.
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart. My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
“If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.”“Listen to me and make up your minds to honor my name,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “or I will bring a terrible curse against you. So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!
