Giving to the needy (3/4)

To do righteousness and justice Is preferred by the Lord more than sacrifice.To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all guilt And receive us graciously, So that we may present the fruit of our lips.”Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace.In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
He said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.”And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Out of the depths I have cried to You, Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the sound of my pleadings.Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring out your righteousness as the light, And your judgment as the noonday.Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things; Let this be known throughout the earth.Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!”And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
Do not envy a violent person, And do not choose any of his ways. For the devious are an abomination to the Lord; But He is intimate with the upright.Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
I acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. SelahI acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination.He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
