So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing.The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
My soul thirsts for God, the living God. When shall I come to behold the face of God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
And yet he is aware of everywhere I go; if he were to test me, I would emerge like pure gold. My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside.
Or can a man walk on red-hot coals without scorching his feet?Or can one walk on hot coals and his feet not be scorched?
Therefore, let us leave behind the basic teaching about Christ and advance toward maturity. We must not be forever laying the foundation: repentance for actions that lead to death, faith in God, instruction about baptisms and the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer?What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
