He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” | And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. |
Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son. | Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee. |

But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness. | But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. |
Our God is in heaven; he does whatever he pleases. | But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. |
No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us. | No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. |

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple. | If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. |

No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known. | No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. |
Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. | That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. |
However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God. | But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. |
