But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?

Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?
My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”
Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.

Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path.
If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil.But test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil.
Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.
