- Trust in Yahweh, and do good.
Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. - Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?
- Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good.
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,
for his loving kindness endures forever. - Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
- For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good. - Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
- Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
equity and every good path. - Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
- Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
- A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - See how good and how pleasant it is
for brothers to live together in unity! - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger,
but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. - Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing,
and obtains favor of Yahweh. - For,
“He who would love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good.
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and doesn’t sin.
- Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
- Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. - For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you. - Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be with you,
as you say. - Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
- A good name is more desirable than great riches,
and loving favor is better than silver and gold.
