- The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. - For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
- Nevertheless in Your great mercy
You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them;
For You are God, gracious and merciful. - The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. - The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up. - The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works. - So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm. - Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him. - Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. - Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
- Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs with discretion. - Take words with you,
And return to the Lord.
Say to Him,
“Take away all iniquity;
Receive us graciously,
For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.” - Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
- Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
- Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
- But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
- For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.Next verse!With image
