| Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. | Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him. |
| I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. | I have no greater joy than this: to hear about my children walking in truth. |

| Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. | Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. |

| But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. | Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? | Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds! |
| Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? | See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? |
| Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. | Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name. |
| His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. | His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.
