Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.
Establish my footsteps in your word. Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.Keep my steps steady according to your promise, and never let iniquity have dominion over me.
With my whole heart I have sought you. Don’t let me wander from your commandments.With my whole heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commandments.
I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works.I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
